Job Summary
The Business Development Director – B2G will spearhead initiatives to drive revenue growth through strategic engagement with government entities. This role requires a seasoned professional with proven expertise in public sector sales, an in-depth understanding of government procurement processes, and the ability to establish and maintain high-level relationships within government agencies.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Planning and Execution
- Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy for the B2G market segment.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities aligned with organizational goals.
- Monitor government policies and procurement trends to identify emerging opportunities
2. Stakeholder Engagement
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key government officials, procurement officers, and decision-makers.
- Represent the organization at government-related events, trade shows, and networking forums.
3. Proposal and Contract Management
- Lead the preparation of bids, proposals, and presentations tailored to government needs.
- Collaborate with legal, finance, and operations teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Negotiate terms and secure contracts with government clients.
4. Market Intelligence and Analysis
- Conduct thorough market research to identify new opportunities and risks in the B2G sector.
- Analyze competitor strategies and market trends to refine the organization’s approach.
5. Team Collaboration
- Collaborate with internal departments to align offerings with government requirements and ensure successful project delivery.
6. Performance Tracking and Reporting
- Establish metrics and KPIs to measure business development success.
- Provide regular reports and insights to senior management on B2G initiatives and results.
Qualifications and Experience:
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Policy, or a related field; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
Experience
- Minimum of 8–10 years in business development or sales roles, with at least 5 years focused on B2G markets.
- Proven track record of securing large-scale government contracts.
Skills
- Strong understanding of government procurement processes, compliance requirements, and regulatory environments.
- Exceptional networking, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to identify opportunities and craft innovative solutions.
- Proficiency in CRM software and project management tools.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $6,000.00 - $8,000.00 per month
