The Director acts as the day-to-day liaison between the client and media team, providing leadership, strategic direction and input for media plans. Effectively leverages experience, knowledge and skills to drive innovative thinking while balancing client, company, and team needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the day-to-day strategic integrated media planning activities for assigned account(s).
  • Help develop planning objectives and strategies that coincide with client’s marketing direction.
  • Establish and grow client relationships by demonstrating an understanding of industry and client business issues
  • Achieve the financial goals of the account by managing costs, revenue, and scope of work in accordance with client contract
  • Oversee budget allocation process for all media based on client initiatives and direction; accurately project costs and anticipate the financial results of plan revisions Oversee and guide content development
  • Cross team collaboration to work with the division leads in Strategy, Programmatic, Content, Analytics & Insights and Ad Ops team.
  • Work with teams to evaluate media performance and KPIs to determine the extent to which the original objectives and strategies were met.
  • Scope of work management, manage and optimise working process to ensure seamless implementation of projects is essential.
  • Run and mentor a mid-size team and promotes a healthy team building and collaboration
  • Participate in the recruitment and selection of junior staff
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships within and outside the immediate team

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, or a related field.
  • min. 10 years of strong media experience, prior experience in managing large client accounts preferred.
  • Ability to develop POVs on various media in the marketplace is essential to this role
  • Sound in online and offline strategic planning
  • Excellent presenter and strong in client & stakeholders management
  • Detailed awareness of media landscape, trends, challenges and competition.
  • Good understanding of research tools
  • Ability to translate data into well-articulated ideas looking outside the box
  • Creative ability to partner and develop innovation and first to market opportunities
  • Superior organizational, interpersonal and managerial skills with attention to detail
