As Operations / Marketing Coordinator, you will be part of a dynamic new design practice. We are seeking a passionate and experienced operations and marketing coordinator to join the team. This is an exciting generalist role spanning a variety of areas across the business and marketing mix, though the ideal candidate must have strong digital and analytical skills, be adept at developing and implementing marketing campaigns and possess outstanding copy writing skills. This position will support activities across the business, sometimes independently and sometimes in collaboration with other members of the marketing team. Immediate focus areas include:

  • Basic admin support for the office staff

  • Bid and tender support

  • Market research

  • Producing marketing information reports demonstrating the impact of various marketing activities, such as statistics from; website, social media channels, email campaigns etc

  • Developing, implementing and measuring marketing campaigns

  • Website management, from day-to-day updates and campaign sites through to major change projects

  • Coordination of and production of editorial for various marketing channels

  • Monitor, update and disseminate marketing collateral

  • Production of project write ups for flagship projects

  • Support events and seminars

  • Support press activities

  • Other ad hoc marketing activities

Skills and Experience

  • 2 years’ experience, preferably in an engineering, professional services or a technical organisation

  • Highly web literate with a strong understanding of current digital platforms, trends, concepts and best practice

  • Practical understanding and experience using social media platforms, email tools, analytics and digital systems

  • Strong analytical and research skills

  • First-class writing skills with the ability to be able to adapt writing style for different media and different audiences

  • Able to identify the ‘hook’, create a story and source the best information from internal and external sources

  • Excellent attention to detail and proof reading skills
