Role Purpose

Play a pivotal role in driving the growth and development of the organization by overseeing talent management, organizational development initiatives, and employer branding strategies for all countries globally. This also includes overseeing the Talent Development programmes including the Graduate program, Succession Planning, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and

Sustainability efforts.

Secondary role provides the HR Business Partnering for a Business Segment in all people matters, liaising with the various HR functions to ensure business and employee needs are met. Responsible for shaping a positive and productive work culture that attracts, retains, and nurtures top talent while fostering organizational effectiveness and agility.

This role manages a team of 3 with 2 in Singapore and 1 in Malaysia.

Key Accountabilities

  • Lead T&OD initiatives for the global organisation to enhance employee engagement, productivity, and performance across all levels.
  • Manage all T&OD events both onsite in Singapore and virtually for staff around the globe.
  • Provide comprehensive reports on talent metrics and organizational development (OD) initiatives.
  • As a HRBP, be a trusted partner on all people matters by being a employee advocate whilst ensuring the business objectives are met.

Job Responsibilities & Duties

Talent & Organisational Development

  • Lead and implement learning and development (L&D) programmes to support employee growth and career advancement.
  • Establish and sustain partnerships with external institutes, industry partners, and training networks both locally in Singapore and globally.
  • Collaborates with the business unit leaders to develop and execute initiatives that optimize our organizational structures, and processes
  • Drive globalisation of key T&OD framework and policies, and lead global launch of HR, training, and OD initiatives
  • Drive CSR and Sustainability events to support organisation objectives in related areas and support the reporting of these initiatives at corporate and group level.
  • Lead the team in the delivery of all leadership and career development training at global level.
  • Provide inputs to content management for HR intranet site and social media posts to Corp Communications team.
  • Perform data analytics and develop comprehensive reports on talent metrics, OD initiatives, and L&D activities to senior management and relevant stakeholders.
  • Willing to work outside of office hours to support global launch of events in MEA and Americas region.

HRBP

  • Provide input to the Global HR strategy as an enabler of delivering HR interventions to meet the broader Business Strategy
  • Monitor the building skills/competencies framework for selected Business Units
  • Identify improvement opportunities (e.g. Outputs from HR analytics) and work with internal customers to design and develop solutions/priorities on people needs.
  • Coach and support line managers to ensure effective management of their people
  • Drive specific HR deliverables by leveraging the support from the HR Operations teams.
  • Provide ‘best practice’ advice and guidance on HR issues to local customer groups, HR team and HR designates within the geography

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration/human resource
  • Master's degree or professional certification in Human Resources Management, Organizational Development, or a related discipline is ideal.

Working Experience Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in organizational development or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Head of Talent and Organizational Development or a similar role, leading teams to deliver results
  • Proven track record of effectively spearheading organization-wide initiatives
  • Experience working with diverse and global teams.
  • Experience in HR Business Partnering will be an advantage.

Skills Required

  • Strong understanding of organizational development principles, change management methodologies, and talent management practices
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
  • Meticulous, able to work independently and possess excellent time management skills.
  • Experienced in Outlook email usage, Microsoft applications - Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
