You will be part of a dynamic team within the Media Capability Development Division, who will conceptualise and implements strategies relating to emerging Media Technologies e.g. Virtual Production, Generative AI, to ensure that Singapore’s Media Industry is able to respond to evolving media trends and global audience preferences.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement the Media Technology e.g. Virtual Production, Generative AI Programmes to improve capabilities of media companies and talent. This includes engagement of industry stakeholders to collect relevant insights, designing the support mechanisms and solutions that meets their needs while advancing IMDA’s objectives.
  • Collate and review of learnings from media tech projects to provide insights to guide future Programme(s) development.
  • Engage identified partners on projects that meets the outcome Media Tech programmes (e.g. Virtual Production) and lead the project management to ensure that deliverable are met in a timely manner. This will include contract negotiations, project progress monitoring, funding administration and issues management.
  • Prepare internal submissions with assessment and recommendations to seek approval of projects, including presentation of proposals to senior management.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of relevant working experience in project management roles and preferably with experience in the media industry as well as managing digital media projects e.g. social media, immersive media, AI. Prior experience in administration of grants, either public or private, will be an added advantage.
  • Well-versed in management of stakeholders at all levels, both externally and internally.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities: Able to work with ambiguity and loosely defined problem spaces.
  • Able to propose and implement solutions in narrow timeframes.
  • Advance proficiency in Powerpoint and have good communication (writing and presentation) skills.
  • Degree qualification preferably in Comms, Media or Business/Marketing.
