The position holder reports to Sales Manager/Senior Manager and must carry out the assigned duties and responsibilities and be able to work closely with other departments and other functional managers within the organization.
He/She MUST at all times maintain the confidentiality of all prices and plans and SHALL NOT disclose confidential information without the approval of her/his Manager.
Key Tasks:
1) Sales Functions
- Achieve and excel against quarterly sales targets.
- Prepare sales quotations and proposals based on technical specifications.
- Follow up sales enquiries.
- Build and maintain good customer relations with existing accounts.
- Actively pursue new sales opportunities.
- Grow sales in the assigned segment.
- Monitor marketplace information and provide recommendations.
- Regular customer visits to position En-Syst as the preferred product/solution provider.
- Provide appropriate technical support to customers, consultants, and prospects.
2) Administration and Operational Functions
- Keep good records of documentation, including enquiry register log.
- Provide monthly sales updates and reports.
- Co-ordinate and lead meetings.
- Prepare a sales work order and handle over to the project team.
- Lead and execute improvement/new processes and customer service experience.
- Ensure process conformance and local legislative compliance with appropriate standards and authorities.
3) Other Assignments
- Shall carry out any project/task/work assigned by Immediate Manager, General Manager, and Directors as and when required to support the business.
Requirements
Education
- Candidate must possess at least ITE/Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in engineering, business, or marketing.
Knowledge / Experience / Others
- Two to three years of industry sales experience and meeting sales goals.
- Customer service and relations skills.
- Adept at Microsoft Office and quickly pick up ERP software navigation skills.
Personal Competencies
- Shall have valid Singapore class 3 driving licence.
- Able to perform multi-tasking.
- Independent, team player with good interpersonal skills.
- Competitive and extroverted as the role is customer facing and requires winning people over.
- Self-initiated to gather information about the market.
- Proponent of embracing technology to improve the sales operations process than deferring back to ‘entry level’ solutions.
