We are seeking a talented individual to join our Bowring Marsh team at Marsh. This role will be based in Singapore. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
This role presents an exceptional opportunity to collaborate with a highly motivated and professional placement team. As an individual contributor, you will be responsible for the placement of multiple line policies within the market for our clients, ensuring that market relationships are cultivated, maintained, and improved as necessary.
We will count on you to:
- Participate in strategy meetings related to insurance renewals, client retention, and new business tenders.
- Support program design and syndication of placement transactions, including negotiation and transaction management.
- Collaborate with country placement teams and client executives to deliver competitive wholesale insurance products and placements, maximizing Marsh's expertise and market advantage.
- Ensure prompt and accurate processing of post-placement services and contractual requirements, including signed binders, policy issuance, and endorsement processing.
- Identify new placement and product opportunities in regional markets and assist in product development.
- Manage relationships with carriers, resolving conflicts and ensuring service and performance meet Marsh standards.
- Contribute to the implementation of Marsh placement strategies and integrate local carrier strategies into Marsh's overall approach.
- Develop strong relationships with local broking/retail placement teams, practice leaders, client advisors, and business development executives to meet client and prospect requirements.
- Ensure compliance with Marsh professional standards and prepare insurance proposals, including quotes, coverage summaries, and related documentation.
- Coordinate workload within the assigned area to ensure effective operations and provide input on team performance.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with retail offices, keeping track of renewal and new business pipelines.
What you need to have:
- A degree in any discipline.
- 8 to 12 years of professional experience in insurance or a related field.
- Excellent client management and communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- A self-starter mentality with the ability to challenge the status quo.
