Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Bioproduction Account Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and growing key accounts within the bioproduction sector, focusing on providing tailored solutions to meet the needs of our clients. This role requires a deep understanding of bioproduction processes, excellent customer relationship management skills, and the ability to drive sales growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for meeting and exceeding annual revenue established for the territory.
Develop a comprehensive understanding of key account needs and enhance customer intimacy across all levels and functions to drive revenue growth and improve customer experience.
Lead or participate in negotiation of contracts in alignment with Global Core Accounts Teams and/or Business Units.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing accounts to drive revenue growth.
Work with technical sales team to establish our products in early phase molecules in clinical development in biotech companies and be an active advocate in following the molecule from development to market.
Position Thermo Fisher Scientific Bioproduction as an end-to-end solution partner for all bioprocess needs in Upstream, Downstream and analytics capabilities.
Accurate demand planning & forecasting through comprehensive use of Salesforce.com.
Drives regional promotional initiatives and sales strategies in alignment with Divisional Marketing Strategy into account/territory.
Provide regional market intelligence, technology trends and voice of customers through regional marketing team to Business Units for the development of new products and solutions.
Stay updated on industry trends, advancements, and competitor activities to provide informed recommendations to clients.
Coordinate with Divisional Business Units and customers to identify potential issues within the supply chain and quality and determine the best course to mitigate and minimize any negative impact to customers.
Planning and presenting reports on account progress, goals, and quarterly initiatives with team members and other internal stakeholders
Participate in individual and company training programs to increase sales competency and technical skills
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, or a related field
4+ years of experience in key account management, sales, or business development within the bioproduction or biotechnology industry.
Good understanding in Upstream, Downstream bioprocess and analytics is an advantage
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and growing key accounts.
Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
Able to work beyond set working hours for morning/evening calls with US counterparts
Effective sales planning and territorial management skills
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Proficiency in Salesforce.com or CRM preferred
