Senior Executive / Assistant Manager (Accounts Payable) – 2 Years Contract
In this role, you will:
- Maintain accurate payment records, monitor aging reports, reconciliations and resolve outstanding balances or discrepancies
- Review end to end process for Accounts Payable to ensure invoices and staff claims are processed, verified and paid timely and accurately
- Review policies and procedures to ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal policies
- Analyse existing workflows and identify opportunities to resolve AP related challenges, improve processes and enhance efficiency
- Develop AP performance metrices, guidelines and document processes for AP staff to ensure consistency and compliance
- Ensure Withholding Tax (WHT), Goods and Services Tax (GST) are properly accounted for and in compliance with regulations
- Support ERP upgrade and automation/digitalisation projects
- Ad hoc tasks as assigned
Requirements
- Degree in Accountancy or equivalent
- At least 3-5 years working experience in accounts payable or process improvement
- Proficient with MS Office
- Familiar with SAP Financial is an advantage
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects
