Job Title: Security Human Resource Officer
Job Scope:
Recruitment and Onboarding of Security Personnel:
Manage the recruitment process for security officers, from job postings to conducting interviews and background checks.
Coordinate the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring all necessary training, certifications, and documents are completed.
Training and Development:
Organize and implement security training programs, including workplace safety, emergency response, and equipment handling.
Ensure compliance with legal requirements and internal security policies.
Conduct regular performance reviews and identify areas for professional development for security staff.
Workplace Safety and Compliance:
Collaborate with the safety department to implement workplace security protocols.
Ensure compliance with government regulations, including the Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) guidelines and the Work Injury Compensation Act (WICA).
Manage incident reporting and oversee any related claims, providing documentation as required.
Employee Relations and Conflict Resolution:
Serve as the point of contact for security personnel regarding HR matters, including grievances, disciplinary actions, and disputes.
Facilitate resolution of conflicts and ensure that all actions comply with labor laws and company policies.
Compensation, Benefits, and Payroll for Security Team:
Oversee payroll, attendance, and time-off requests for security staff.
Manage benefits administration and ensure that security personnel are aware of and receive their entitled benefits.
Performance Management:
Establish and track performance metrics for security staff.
Conduct regular evaluations and provide feedback to improve overall security operations.
Policy Development and Implementation:
Assist in the development of security-related HR policies, including those related to workplace security, employee conduct, and emergency procedures.
Update policies regularly to reflect changes in regulations and industry standards.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
3+ years of experience in HR, with at least 1-2 years in a security or related industry.
Knowledge of Security and HR Practices:
Strong understanding of security operations and protocols.
Familiarity with labor laws, WICA, and other safety regulations.
Knowledge of HR management, including recruitment, employee relations, and payroll administration.
Skills:
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
Proficiency in HR software and tools (e.g., payroll systems, employee management platforms).
