My client, a digital solutions for Smart Ships in the maritime industry i s seeking a Project Manager to join their Technical team.
Job Responsibilities:
Take ownership of projects from Pre-Sales through to delivery.
Act as the main point of contact for all deliverables within the projects, ensuring they meet required quality levels, budgets, and timelines.
Manage all project communications and attend customer meetings.
Identify and manage risks, issues, actions, and dependencies throughout the project lifecycle.
Lead and manage both internal and external teams on project work.
Monitor and report on project progress to all stakeholders.
Generate Bills of Material based on order requirements.
Coordinate with various departments to resolve customer queries.
Allocate engineer assignments as needed, both locally and overseas.
Conduct in-house testing on new products.
Liaise with contractors and customers to ensure timely project delivery.
Attend local or overseas site surveys and commissioning onboard vessels.
Prepare reports according to site survey requirements.
Create schematic and termination drawings as required.
Provide technical support to customers.
Troubleshoot and repair faults.
Support tasks and manage communications with clients and internal departments.
Maintain and update records on JIRA/WIKI/SHAREPOINT for projects and ongoing service tasks.
Requirements:-
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience (preferably in the Marine and Offshore industry).
A university degree or equivalent
Proven effective communication skills.
Ability to travel and work on remote sites.
Highly motivated and adaptable.
Excellent in managing clients and timelines.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Those who have onboard vessels working experience is an added advantage
