POSITION SUMMARY:

As part of the Regional IT team, the Regional Business Solutions Manager (BSM) will work collaboratively with business stakeholders to identify opportunities, translate them into clear compelling business cases for investment justifications, document requirements, carry out the technology selection, design solutions, and lead the implementation to deliver business value compliant with Menarini IT policies and processes.

This role is expected to drive the adoption of cutting-edge technologies primarily in the Supply Chain, Quality Assurance, Manufacturing and Human Resources business functions. This role will also be responsible for leading the migration from Microsoft Dynamics Axapta 2009 (Ax09) ERP to SAP S/4HANA for modules such as but not limited to Sales & Distribution (SD), Materials Management (MM), Production Planning (PP), Plant Maintenance (PM) beginning with the gap analysis. In addition, the BSM is also responsible for demand management for business applications including managing post implementation optimization.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Business Analysis & Solution Design:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to thoroughly understand business needs, pain points, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Conduct comprehensive business analysis to define project scope, requirements, and desired outcomes.
  • Design and lead the implementation business applications/solutions (such as SAP S/4HANA, data analytics tools, and AI solutions) within the region, ensuring they meet local requirements, ensuring alignment with strategic business goals.
  • Test and validate solutions to ensure they function as expected and deliver the desired value.

Project Management & Implementation:

  • Develop and manage detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocations to ensure successful project execution.
  • Oversee the implementation of selected business applications, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems and processes, while maximizing the value delivered by each platform.
  • Monitor project progress, identify and mitigate risks, and adjust plans as needed to achieve desired outcomes.

Data Analytics & AI Adoptions:

  • Promote a data-driven culture primarily in the Supply Chain, Quality Assurance, Manufacturing functions
  • Identify opportunities for leveraging data analytics and AI to uncover insights, optimize operations, and drive decision-making
  • Collaborate with data analysts and AI specialists to develop and deploy solutions tailored to regional needs.

Change Management & Adoption:

  • Drive user adoption of new technologies and processes leading through effective change management, communication, and training programs, ensuring a smooth transition and maximizing the return on investment.

Vendor Management & Partnerships:

  • Manage relationships with technology vendors, implementation partners, and other stakeholders, ensuring successful project delivery, ongoing support, and alignment with strategic objectives
  • Act as the primary point of contact for technology vendors and implementation partners within the region
  • Monitor vendor performance and ensure adherence to service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Participate in contract reviews in collaboration with legal, procurement, and other relevant stakeholders to ensure favorable terms and risk mitigation

Continuous Improvement & Innovation:

  • Perform project post mortems, gather feedback from regional users and stakeholders on the effectiveness of implemented solutions.
  • Identify areas for continuous improvement and collaborate with internal stakeholdersor vendors to address them.
  • Stay informed about emerging technologies and their potential impact on Supply Chain and Manufacturing, advocating for their adoption when relevant.

Others:

  • Financial Stewardship: Develop and manage budgets, track spending, and optimize spending on IT initiatives and systems in Supply Chain, Quality Assurance, Manufacturing and Human Resource functions
  • Provide support to Regional Head of IT in any other area assigned

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems. Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM), or other relevant certifications will be preferred.
  • At least 5 years in a business analyst or IT project management role, with a focus on implementing business applications (ERP, CRM, analytics, etc.).
  • Demonstrated experience leading successful projects through the full lifecycle, from requirements gathering to implementation and user adoption.
  • Experience working with Supply Chain, Quality Assurance, or Manufacturing functions.
  • Familiarity with data analytics concepts and tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) to identify opportunities and drive data-driven decision-making.
  • Strong project management skills: Ability to plan, execute, monitor, and control projects effectively,
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills: Ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels, gather requirements, and effectively communicate project status and outcomes.
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills: Ability to identify and analyze issues, develop solutions, and make data-driven decisions, influence stakeholders and build consensus around proposed solutions.
  • Change management skills: Ability to effectively manage change and facilitate user adoption of new technologies and processes.
  • Vendor management skills: Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with vendors and partners.
  • Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA in one or more of SD/MM/PP/PM modules, Microsoft Dynamics, or other relevant ERP platforms will be an advantage.
  • Experience with data visualization and reporting tools: Proficiency in using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms will be beneficial
