The Regional Business Analysis Manager plays a key role in providing insights on business trends and forecasts, business partnering with senior management in the organization with the aim to influence strategic decisions where possible.

This position benefits from a great exposure to the senior leadership at all levels of the organisation: local Markets, South-Asia Region and HQ.

Job responsibilities

  • Provide value-adding & in-depth key commentary / analysis on the variation vs LY / Budget / forecast for sales by boutique and by category for management decision making
  • Gather, analyze and present competitors’ information, trends and benchmark
  • Prepare rolling sales forecast by market and by category with sound logic
  • Identify opportunity / risk based on the retail KPI
  • Actively participate in store network planning evolution, coordinate and handle meetings with regional store planning team and Paris HQ. Coordinate the sharing of information between the markets and HQ on the changes of Network plans
  • Support the budget / forecasting process for sales and gross margin analysis
  • Work closely with Regional Client Development Management teams and local Markets Leaders to review and assess from a financial angle all Outside Venue events, Pop-ups, etc. Review the ROI target and provide post-mortem analysis and comments
  • Interface with markets, HQ (Paris), regional team for various project related to SOP, OTB, POS information systems and network related projects
  • Work closely with Sales Planning and Merchandising teams to prepare OTB (open to buy) based on the approved budget / forecast by coordinating with Paris supply chain department
  • Elevate Business Finance community capabilities across the South-Asia markets via on-the-job training and coaching, support the information and best practice sharing across the region
  • Provide ad hoc financial analysis and presentation as required by senior management

Profile

Education & Professional Qualifications

  • Finance / Accounting qualifications or MBA holders

Work Experience

  • Minimum 10 years of work experiences in multinational companies
  • Relevant experience in Retail / FMCG industry will be added advantage

  • Strong business acumen, and able to translate number into action and follow through with business owner
  • Strong communication skills and able to work under multi-tasking environment
  • Possess can-do attitude with strong commitment
