Job Summary:

The Head of E-Commerce Sales and Product will sit in the executive team and report directly to the CEO. You will take point in driving the entire e-commerce vertical in a time of massive business growth for our client. You will be responsible for elevating the success of all e-commerce operations, overseeing and propelling all related functions including sales, marketing, business operations, customer service, product campaigns, and strategic planning.

This is an exciting role for someone hands-on, strategic and detail-oriented, who is looking to contribute heavily to the growth of a business through their e-commerce strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create an annual digital marketing calendar and oversee the digital translation of this vision across all platforms and marketplaces

• Perform targeted and detailed research and analysis across consumer bases and present target segmentation and brand strategy to management

• Identify opportunities and work cross-functionally to leverage digital platforms to enhance marketing and user experience, and increase business activities through online solutions, both strategically and in terms of execution of online marketplace fulfilment

• Lead the optimisation of e-commerce content and layouts to improve performance and sales conversion

• Work closely with management to strategise and plan evergreen business needs and direct the team on all digital merchandising, campaign planning and brand activation efforts across brand website and online marketplaces

• Build up vendor and supplier relationships, including contract negotiations, proposal evaluation and sign off

• Develop media and SEO strategies across paid and unpaid channels to promote active engagement organically

• Manage the e-commerce customer service team and track customer satisfaction and feedback to ensure service quality including response time, follow ups, and customer engagement

• Oversee and evaluate the performance of the e-commerce and customer service teams

• Develop annual and monthly budgets and e-commerce performance report to ensure business targets are achieved

Requirements:

• Proven experience of at least 6-8 years in a strategic e-commerce role, preferably in the local F&B/ cafe/ bakery/ bistro/ coffeehouse space

• At least a bachelor’s degree in digital marketing, business analytics, or related fields will be looked on favourably

• Mastery of foundational digital marketing principles and analytics such as SEO optimisation, Google analytics, value proposition and brand positioning and strategy is a must

• Solid data analytical skills and problem solving, specific to e-commerce platforms

• Strong grasp of website design and search and advertising across social media, email, programmes and website

• Excellent communication skills in English both written and spoken

• Positive, driven, and open to feedback - you will be in a heavily hands-on role so will need to be a self-starter who is adaptable and can pivot according to the needs of the brand and discussions with management
