Job Summary
Responsible for driving sales within the assigned geographic territory (China and Singapore) and industry verticals, with a primary focus on building and expanding client relationships. The role involves selling the full DXC Tech Stack, including IT solutions, services integration, and advisory offerings
The candidate will lead complex deal pursuits, securing new accounts and upselling within existing accounts. This requires a deep understanding of DXC’s product and services portfolio, the deal pursuit process, and the ability to create compelling value propositions tailored to customer needs. The role involves managing high-stakes negotiations, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring the successful execution of large, complex deals in a consultative and solution-driven sales environment.
Responsibilities
- Drive sales by focusing on both new business acquisition and account growth, with an emphasis on building long-term trust with customers.
- Lead deal teams and represent DXC to customers for major opportunities.
- Assemble and coordinate all required resources/skills to develop proposals, pursue opportunities, and win large local and international deals.
- Assist in opportunity qualification and risk assessment.
- Validate and endorse the technical solution for each deal and ensure delivery teams can execute the proposed design.
- Develop deal timelines and ensure pursuit teams meet all milestones and deadlines.
- Substantiate winning value propositions tailored to customer needs, addressing critical business drivers and risks.
- Lead negotiations for large, complex local and international deals.
- Proactively manage resource requirements throughout the deal pursuit process.
- Support seamless transition of deal leadership post-sale to ensure successful implementation.
Education and Experience Required
- 15+ years of senior sales experience in complex IT service environments, with expertise in solutions integration (SI).
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree or MBA preferred.
- Proven experience working with senior-level stakeholders and addressing customer pain points.
- Background in IT (e.g., former IT Director managing IT across China, Singapore, and APAC preferred).
- Fluent in Mandarin (required).
- Managed at least 3-5 large managed services, applications, security, or analytics deals successfully.
