  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

We are looking for guitar instructors to teach students through 1-1 and group lessons of all ages.

Our background:

Founded and established in 2022, Guitar Movement SG is a guitar academy and repair space that focuses on guitar lessons and guitar maintenance.

Job Description:

1. To teach guitar and bass using written curriculum in 1-1 or group settings in different contemporary musical styles such as pop, funk, blues, rock, metal, jazz, fingerstyle etc

2. To teach music theory and practical techniques such as aural training, sight reading, musicianship skills

3. To teach graded examinations

4. To motivate and encourage students music learning journey

5. To assess individual students abilities and to provide feedback

6. To assist in reception duties such as providing course consultation and guitar servicing related consultation (Training provided)

7. To assist in administrative duties such as developing lesson curriculum, tailored according to students needs

8. To attend to student/customer enquiries with professionalism

9. To ensure school is in good operational order

Requirements:

1. Minimum Grade 8 in Guitar, Diploma/BA in Music

2. Minimum 1 year experience in teaching or related fields preferred

3. Engaging and cheerful personality

4. Have a great passion for music

5. Exhibit strong planning and organisational skills

6. Excellent communication skills

7. Experience working with children preferred

Job details

Salary:

24/hr onwards (Guitar teacher)

Location: Central Singapore, Bukit Merah Central (On-site)

Working hours: 3-4 days/week

Job Types: Permanent part-time, Contract (Possibility to move up to full-time)

Job Types: Part-time, Freelance

Pay: $24.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
