  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.
  3. Make sure the Enable JavaScript checkbox is selected.
  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

All Teaching Materials and Training will be provided.

Working hours: Part-time basis and timing to be discussed during interview. Classes are conducted on weekdays afternoon/evening (anytime between 230 - 7 pm). Start from May 2025 and able to commit till end Nov 2025.

Salary: Hourly rate range $25 - $50/hr depending on class size and experience

Job Description

  • Delivering lessons in accordance with StarChamps's curriculum for students at Primary level, using various teaching methods to ensure a high quality of learning
  • Marking students' work and going the extra mile for weaker students
  • Classroom administration
  • Completing student progress reports for students each term
  • Establishing and maintaining good relationships with students and parents
  • Providing term updates to parents on students’ performance and progress
  • Create and maintain a safe and conducive learning environment for students, safeguarding their safety and health at all time

Job Requirements

  • Minimum qualification diploma/A levels/degree
  • Teaching experience in Chinese will be an advantage
  • Must have the passion to teach
  • Has to be comfortable with use of technology in class
  • Able to teach secondary level will be a plus
  • Can commit for until end of November
