NEC Asia Pacific is seeking a talented Designer to lead the revamp of our company's visual identity, aligning it with the latest visual identity (VI) guidelines from our headquarters. This role will focus on modernizing the overall brand design of NEC APAC, ensuring it reflects our commitment to innovation and human-centric solutions.

In addition to leading the visual identity project, the designer will be responsible for managing day-to-day design requests from various business units. This includes ensuring a quick turnaround for all marketing content and collateral, which is essential to support ongoing business operations effectively. The ability to prioritize and execute these requests efficiently will be crucial in maintaining brand consistency and meeting the dynamic needs of the organization.

This dual focus on strategic design leadership and operational responsiveness will help NEC APAC enhance its market presence while fostering a collaborative environment that encourages creativity and innovation across all departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Visual Identity Revamp: Redesign and implement the company's visual identity in accordance with HQ guidelines, ensuring a cohesive and modern aesthetic.
  • Brand Modernization: Develop a comprehensive brand strategy that enhances NEC APAC's market presence and aligns with contemporary design trends.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal stakeholders, including marketing, communications, and product teams, to gather insights and ensure brand consistency across all platforms.
  • Design Development: Create high-quality design assets including logos, marketing materials, digital content, and presentations that embody the new visual identity.
  • Feedback Integration: Gather and incorporate feedback from various departments to refine designs and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Trend Analysis: Stay updated on industry trends and competitor branding strategies to inform design decisions and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Marcom Support: During free time, assist in adjacent marketing communications activities such as planning events, creating newsletters, and developing promotional materials.
  • Content & Digital Marketing: Contribute to content creation for digital marketing initiatives, including social media campaigns and website updates.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in graphic design or brand development, preferably within a corporate environment.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and familiarity with web design tools.
  • Portfolio: A strong portfolio showcasing previous branding projects and visual identity work.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively present ideas and concepts.
