M&E Engineering Manager

Job Scope:

• Oversee the design, procurement, and installation of M&E systems
• Lead and supervise M&E engineers, contractors, and subcontractors
• Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, and suppliers to ensure project requirements are met
• Ensure M&E work meets industry standards, codes, and safety regulations
• Monitor project budgets, manage expenses, and control costs
• Identify potential risks related to M&E systems and implement mitigation strategies
• Maintain accurate records of contracts, designs, and project progress
• Address and resolve technical or logistical issues during the project lifecycle
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, building codes, and environmental standards
• Provide regular progress reports and status updates to stakeholders
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor work progress and quality assurance

Requirements:

• Degree/Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the construction industry
• Must have M&E industry experience
• Strong analytical skills and ability to work independently
• Excellent project control and people management skills
