The ideal candidate will have a strong background in event management, sponsorship acquisition, and digital marketing, with a proven track record of driving successful events and sponsorships as part of B2B firms. As a key member of our marketing team, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and tracking events and sponsorships to promote our brand, align with the GTM strategy for demand generation, and contribute to measure-able business growth.Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute complex event-based customer experiences, aligned with business strategies, campaign objectives and brand positioning.
  • Identify, negotiate, and secure strategic sponsorship opportunities to enhance brand visibility, generate leads, and drive revenue growth.
  • Plan, curate and coordinate all aspects of corporate events, including, conferences, seminars, networking events, and bespoke customer events, from conception to post-event evaluation.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholder teams and external vendors to ensure seamless execution of events, including venue selection, logistics, budget management, and on-site coordination.
  • Utilize digital marketing tools and channels, including social media, email marketing, and online advertising, to promote events, engage attendees, and drive quality registrations and attendance.
  • Track and analyse key metrics and KPIs to measure the success of events and sponsorships, and provide regular reports and insights to stakeholders.
  • Manage relationships with sponsors, associations, exhibitors, speakers, and other event stakeholders to maximize value and ensure a positive experience for all participants.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in event management and digital marketing, and incorporate innovative strategies to enhance event effectiveness and ROI.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or related field;
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in event management, sponsorships, and digital marketing, preferably in a B2B and/or professional services environment.
  • Proven track record of successfully planning, executing, and tracking events and sponsorships that drive brand awareness, lead generation, and revenue growth.
  • Strong negotiation skills and ability to cultivate and maintain relationships with sponsors, partners, and vendors.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms, including social media management, email marketing, and marketing automation software.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results on time and within budget.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to track, measure, and analyse event and sponsorship performance metrics to optimize ROI.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
