EV-Electric (EVe) Charging Pte Ltd is a subsidiary of the Land Transport Authority of Singapore (LTA), which coordinates the national effort to undertake the electrical infrastructure upgrades and deployment of electric vehicles charging points (EVCPs) primarily in Singapore’s residential carparks.

You will lead the project execution of the electrical infrastructure upgrade (including substations, consumer switch rooms) for power provision to EV chargers.

Overall, as a Design Manager, you will be responsible for the Charging Operations in the assigned zone(s). The job will include the following:

· Develop and implement end-to-end design development and deployment of EV chargers in public car parks. This also includes developing the tender specifications and requirements.

· Lead the design reviews to ensure EV charger deployment are carried out in compliance with the contract specifications and agencies’ code of practices and regulations.

· Support the deployment management process and coordinate with other public agencies to facilitate approval processes.

This role will also require collaboration with other government agencies, industry partners and community partners to manage the EVCPs’ installation within a designated geographical boundary. Project and people management skills will be tested to meet the master project implementation schedule, as well as to ensure smooth downstream operations and maintenance.

You are typically expected to ensure the contractor follows set regulations and is empowered to call out deviations. You shall also be the de facto deputy in the absence of the project manager for all matters.

Requirements:

· Tertiary qualification in engineering fields.

· Candidates with engineering experience in design and project management, as well as strong administration skills are preferred.

· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to coordinate with team members and external stakeholders.

· Meticulous, efficient time manager, and skilful operator under tight deadlines

· Proficient in Microsoft Office suite software, and knowledge in Geographic Information System (GIS) platforms, applications, and interfaces preferred

· At least 5 years of relevant working experience, and at least 3 years of prior experience in managing diverse stakeholders.
