Position Overview:
Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Corporate Relationship Manager to join their team. This role will be pivotal in managing and expanding relationships with corporate clients across the region, focusing on accounts from Headquarters (HQ) and regional offices. The Corporate Relationship Manager will primarily focus on account servicing, which involves providing tailored financial solutions and ensuring exceptional service delivery to enhance client satisfaction and retention.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of approximately 15 corporate accounts, spanning across various industries.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with clients, understanding their financial needs and objectives.
- Act as the main point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, providing advisory services, and coordinating with internal teams to deliver solutions.
- Collaborate with HQ and Regional officers to handle deal flows effectively, ensuring seamless execution of transactions.
- Conduct occasional client hunting to expand the client base and identify new business opportunities.
- Offer financial products and services including bilateral loans, syndication, and trade finance, tailoring solutions to meet client requirements.
- Utilize credit skills to assess and manage credit risk associated with client transactions, adhering to bank policies and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and present credit proposals, ensuring accuracy and completeness in documentation.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Corporate Relationship Manager or similar role in banking, with a strong understanding of corporate banking products.
- Sound knowledge of credit analysis, with the ability to assess and mitigate credit risks effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to analyze financial statements and evaluate complex financial data.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
