Euroclear Singapore Branch is recruiting for a new position to join our Transaction Processing Division.
Transaction Processing APAC is responsible for the management of cash and settlement activities related to APAC markets, APAC currencies but also cash and securities netting with Clearstream.
Cash and Settlement department is a complex but exciting business, which requires a highly time management, prioritization, understanding of the market and attention to detail. Cash and Settlement are core businesses which are absolutely vital for Euroclear Bank.
Our department interacts with various teams across location such as Client Services, Commercial, Banking, FundSettle, Asset Servicing, Collateral Management, Network Management and Product divisions. This will give you exceptionally good opportunities to build an end-to-end knowledge of the Operations business.

About The Team
Transaction Processing facilitates the smooth and timely exchange of securities on the secondary markets between Euroclear Bank's clients and their counterparties inside and outside Euroclear Bank. We actively monitor, support and closely cooperate with participants to increase settlement efficiency. Our range of services also includes processing and controlling treasury activity from a deals and accounting perspective as well as managing all cash inquiries from the Cash Correspondents Network.

This will give you exceptionally good opportunities to build an end-to-end knowledge of the Operations business.
Your part of the deal
As a member of the Transaction Processing team, your specific responsibilities will be to:
- Handle the processing of Clients and Correspondent cash instructions
- Repair and follow up of incorrect/incomplete instructions with the clients (Queries) to ensure timely execution
- Monitor the outflow of payments and run risk control checks
- Ensure cash and settlement instructions are processed accurately and on time
- Process cancellation requests from client for their cash and settlement instructions
- Process cash and securities realignment requests with Clearstream on a daily basis
- Perform analysis and solve an escalation or investigation together with management
- Liaise and handle queries from Asian cash correspondents and depositories
- Provide assistance to Client Services for queries related to cash and settlement
- Propose and implement new tools and application to improve efficiency and productivity
- Can coordinate actions between stakeholders
- Can actively contribute to projects or initiatives with outputs subject to managerial review
- Contribute to the continuous improvement (To host/ participate in Problem Solving Session with concerned parties, raise gaps in the process and work on action plan)
The Ideal Candidate Will
- Possess an understanding of Financial products and associated with cash and settlement
- Able to structurally communicate, both in verbal & written among peers
- Ability to multitask effectively in a strict deadline environment and have a good priority management skills
- Detail-oriented and accurate at all times
- Possess good problem solving and analytical skills.
- Work well with autonomy, be open minded and a quick learner
- Be self-motivated and able to work with different teams
- Ideally have previous experience in cash processing and/or settlement operations is an asset
- Have fluency in English, and other language e.g. Mandarin is a plus
- Knowledge on SQL, advanced Excel (Macro/VBA) skill is a plus
