ABOUT THE ROLE:

The Regional Director will lead the regional team and business operations to achieve market growth in line with strategic objectives. This role focuses on delivering robust sales, increasing profitability, developing channel partnerships, and optimizing regional processes. The director will drive customer engagement, improve forecasting, and implement strategies to expand into emerging markets. Additionally, the role is responsible for team development, ensuring alignment with the broader group’s strategic initiatives.

Strategic Leadership & Commercial Execution

  • Develop and execute strategic plans to exceed sales and margin targets across SEA markets.
  • Driving YoY revenue growth in the next five years and achieving a profitable gross margin
  • Implement business models to increase direct sales by 20-30%.

Channel & Customer Relationship Management

  • Build and strengthen relationships with top 80 channel partners and customers, optimize channel management with data-driven, methodical approaches.
  • Develop strategies to penetrate new segments and geographies, enhance customer engagement, improve order accuracy, lead times, and delivery.

Regional Operations & Warehouse Strategy

  • Assess warehouse needs in Singapore, including value-add assembly and spare parts stocking.
  • Leverage local manufacturing resources (China, India) to improve price competitiveness.

Market Analysis / Growth Initiatives / Product Strategy

  • Conduct comprehensive competitor analysis, including market share, pricing, and commercial strategies, and develop countermeasures as needed.
  • Lead growth initiatives in emerging markets such as Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, and South Korea.
  • Execute the GDP (Growth Deployment Process) to drive commercial excellence.
  • Represent the SEA region in the Corporation, participating in reviews, strategic planning, and cross-regional collaborations
  • Align with the "Local for Local" strategy to develop products based on regional customer needs and market demands, driving market share in SEA.

THE QUALIFIED CANDIDATE:

  • Educational Degree in Engineering or other related fields
  • Minimum 12 years of experience in Sales / Business Development / Commercial-related roles.
