FIXED INCOME OPERATIONS VP

About the role

You will be based in Singapore reporting to the Head of Operations and be part of the global Operations team which includes KYC and client onboarding.

Key responsibilities:

· Ensure smooth settlement of bond trades and timely issue resolution

· Process coupons, redemptions and corporate actions

· Process SWIFT instructions and initiate cash transfers

· Liaise with Custodian Banks and Market Counterparties for settlement matters

· Perform eligibility checks to support timely listing of bonds on the BondbloX Bond Exchange

· Updating bond reference data

· Perform daily cash and bond reconciliations

· Daily reporting to the Business and control functions

· Produce monthly trading activity reports

· Contribute to new product or new feature designs including performing UAT testing

· Some knowledge of KYC/onboarding of individuals would be a big plus

· Assist in performing periodic client reviews and transaction monitoring

· Manage a small team

What are we looking for?

The successful candidate should have the following skills and experience:

· 5-10 years progressive Operations experience in a Regulated Financial Institution/Bank/FinTech

· Prior experience with Fixed Income Operations preferred

· Good knowledge of Fixed Income settlement processes

· Bachelor’s degree in finance/business/economic

· Excellent English language written and verbal communication skills

· Meticulous attention to detail

· Analytical and data-driven mindset to address problems and initiatives

· A desire to learn new things within an ever-changing and innovative environment

· Self-driven and self-starter who takes initiative and can prioritize multiple projects under tight timelines

· Team player with a proactive can-do attitude

· Strong sense of ownership
