Job Description

Candidate applying for this position shall research, develop and implement AI robotics to create an intelligent environment in the robotics for autonomous manufacturing.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Lead stakeholder discussions to grasp problem statements, requirements, and expectations.
  • Conduct technology scouting for industrial robotic applications and automation best practices.
  • Perform process mapping and feasibility analysis for robotic processes.
  • Develop smart robotic automation options, project proposals, and scoping.
  • Engineer and conceptualize robotic processes.
  • Program robotic motion using simulation-based techniques.
  • Execute the project lifecycle for robotic process development and implementation.
  • Prepare technical project documentation and presentations
  • Develop and optimize advanced robotic algorithms for perception-guided manipulation.
  • Maintain and support software components for manipulation systems.
  • Collaborate with hardware engineers to integrate software solutions.
  • Create and implement transfer learning models for various machine learning tasks.
  • Collaborate with domain experts to tailor transfer learning models to specific business needs.
  • Utilize transfer learning to enhance expert skill efficiency and applicability.
  • Stay updated on the latest advancements in transfer learning and skill adaptation.

Job Requirements

  • Relevant Engineering degree with focus on robotics or mechatronics.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in industrial robotic automation development and deployment.
  • Expertise in ROS and programming languages like C++, C#, Python, or JavaScript.
  • Knowledgeable about Linux platforms and command line operations.
  • Deep understanding of robot manipulation and kinematics.
  • Proficient in CAD software, especially Siemens NX.
  • Strong in industrial and collaborative robot programming.
  • Familiarity with offline robot programming software like ABB-RobotStudio, Robotmaster, or RoboDK.
  • Experience with machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow, Pytorch, Scikit- Learn, Caffe) and computer vision tools (OpenCV, PCL) is advantageous.
  • Skilled in working with diverse datasets and applying transfer learning.
  • Proficient in rapid prototyping and constructing neural network models efficiently.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and analytical mindset.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder interaction abilities.
  • Adaptable, hands-on, and self-motivated approach to work.
