  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.
  3. Make sure the Enable JavaScript checkbox is selected.
  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Job Title: Accountant

Job Duration: 12 months contract with a possibility to extend!

Morgan McKinley is seeking an Accountant for a 12 month contract assignment with a possibility to extend or to go perm!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead finance transformation projects, including system migration and process improvements
  • Manage month-end closing processes, including balance sheet reconciliations and management accounts
  • Prepare reports for regulators and local authorities, including IRAS, MAS, and SGX
  • Stay up-to-date on financial and regulatory developments and lead the implementation of changes to reporting requirements
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to address finance-related queries and requests
  • Assist in business-as-usual activities and other ad-hoc matters

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • CA, CPA, or ACCA qualification
  • 8-10 years of relevant experience in the banking or financial services sector in a similar role
  • Experience with Big 4 accounting firms is a plus
  • Strong knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), Goods and Services Taxes (GST), corporate income tax, and transfer pricing
  • Familiarity with Exchange and MAS rules is advantageous
  • Proven experience in dealing with regulators and senior management
