Role Description

We are looking for an Account Executive with 0-2 years of experience to join our B2B Media team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on important accounts for dentsu B2B and to learn about media buying as well as media planning.

Key Responsibilities

Staff

  • Responsible for understanding and regularly working to achieve set development plan
  • Responsible for sharing updates, issues and concerns with manager during regular catch ups
  • Responsible for flagging issues or concerns regarding meeting deadlines or necessary skills to complete tasks
  • Follow certification / training agency for self-learning
  • Connect with peers / wider agency account groups for knowledge sharing

Product

  • Understand available tools and undertake training / seek guidance on how to use them
  • Work under guidance of your manager to produce strategic media responses in line with MB2B frameworks
  • Actively participate in training sessions to enhance understanding of MB2B frameworks / product
  • Responsible for compiling campaign reporting documents ensuring that they address the pre-defined business challenge and offer the commentary framework (observation, recommendations & insights)
  • Responsible for accuracy in all client facing documents including media plans and reporting – this includes spelling, formulas, numbers correctly totalling and correct inclusion of any platform / agency fees in line with client’s budget

Vendors

  • Work with Account Manager to identify relevant vendors for your client
  • Critically assess a vendors suitability by using analysis framework to determine appropriateness
  • Participate in agency training sessions and proactively identify relevant vendors aligned to account goals
  • Attend vendor meetings or events to build profile of MB2B

Clients - Foster strong working relationship with our clients through

  • Responsive communication

  • Working with manager and digital counterparts to provide clear point of view
  • Accuracy in client facing documents including creative specifications, reporting and finance
  • Seek to understand the business reason behind a client’s response and how our delivery impacts their business

Financial - Ensure all finance deadlines are met and finance is loaded accurately

  • Understand the client scope
  • Maintain client finance tracker as well as FSD for accurate loadings

Network - Understand the MB2B and Dentsu offering by attending town halls, Dentsu University and other internal training sessions

Culture -

  • Actively participate in MB2B culture defined by: day to day interactions with colleagues; participation with social events involvement in additional work projects such as new business pitches / brainstorming as appropriate
  • Champion MB2B within Dentsu network by demonstrating a passion and willingness to share details on our capabilities / client portfolio
