As FDM continues to rapidly expand its business operations in Asia Pacific; we are seeking individuals who can demonstrate the potential to build a successful career in Sales.

You will play an integral role within the Sales Team, generating new business through research, calls and meetings with clients and prospects. Our Sales Development Program will prepare you for your eventual role as a Sales Executive where you will represent the client facing side of FDM. The primary objective of this role is to find, grow, develop, and generate sales from new and existing clients and place IT consultants in long-term contracts. You will be a key contact for Senior Management across all deliverables, understanding requirements and providing business solutions. You will be based in Singapore, reporting directly to the Singapore Sales Manager.

As part of their training, the junior sales executive will initially start off in the Recruitment team and progress to become a member of the Sales team, creating and developing relationships with our high-profile clients.

While on the Sales Development Program you will develop:

  • A deep understanding of FDM's business, services, and customer landscape
  • Ability to assess emerging level talent and build relationships with applicants to FDM's Careers Programs
  • Sourcing, Prospecting and Pipeline development skills
  • Research and Presentation skills through engaging global projects designed to expose you to FDM's wider business

As you progress to a full-time sales role, responsibilities may include:

  • Qualifying and generating leads
  • Initial outreach to new and existing clients within your territory (cold calls, emails, events)
  • Booking and running meetings with potential and existing clients
  • Growing and developing a network of client managers who trust you to deliver
  • Supporting clients in delivering on projects/initiatives by identifying resource solutions through FDM's Skills Lab
  • Achieving budgeted sales and production objectives established by Sales Management
  • Ensuring quality customer service through a pro-active approach to finding and creating solutions
