Position overview

As a Sales Development Representative you will research, identify and qualify potential leads for the Commercial team in line with the company’s strategy. You will generate interest and create opportunities for Commercial hunters to pursue.

Key responsibilities

  • Collaboration with Sales Executives/Sales Leaders to conduct market research to generate sales leads, analyzing industry trends, competitor activity and market dynamics
  • Research to generate net new sales pipeline by target industry
  • Identify key decision makers within new accounts
  • Initiate contact with potential leads to generate interest in the company’s portfolio and offerings
  • Gain customer interest through outbound cold calling, LinkedIn or email in assigned territory.
  • Evaluate sales leads based on their suitability and potential for conversion, segmenting them by their level of interest and readiness to purchase, RFI and RFP
  • Provide timely and accurate information about qualified leads to the Sales Executives

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in business development, sales or related field experience preferably in B2B environment
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment and across many different parts of a global organization
  • Experience researching, account planning, prospecting, and cold calling into a large list of new accounts
  • Experienced in Salesforce CRM, Google Workspace, Spreadsheet and Photoshop preferred
  • Excellent communication, presentation and people skills
  • Business or Technology Degree. Fresh graduates may be considered
