Position: Jr. Customer Service Co-ordinator/ Logistics Support

(PR or Singapore resident)

  • Customer service representative will be the point of contact for KStrong customers via phone, email. This Role is required to provide logistics support in addition to handle customer inquiries, orders and complaints to support the Company’s growth. This role requires a positive and helpful attitude, as well as strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Job Duties and Responsibilities: (As Jr. Customer Service)

  • Communicate with customers either by telephone or emails.
  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries about products, stock availability and provides guidance to customers on import requirements
  • Obtain and evaluate all relevant information to handle product and service inquiries.
  • Provide pricing and delivery information.
  • Process orders, forms, applications and any other requests from CS Supervisor/Office Manager.
  • Handle and resolve Customer Complaints, report to CS supervisor/office manager (if required)
  • Keep records of customer interactions and transactions in the form of email/documents.
  • Record details of inquiries, comments and complaints.
  • Update system when Job is completed.
  • Communicate and coordinate with internal and external departments for customer requirements and timeframes
  • Follow up on customer back orders and drop ship orders.
  • Provide weekly Orders received report to Office manager
  • Process sample requests from country managers
  • Back up customer Service and Admin Supervisor when she is on leave/away
  • Back up Logistics PIC when she is on leave/away - coordination with customer, warehouse and customer’s forwarder on shipment/collection
  • Collaborate with all KStrong employees and strive to be a positive team player

Job Duties and Responsibilities: (As Logistics Support/ Back up)

Import:

  • Arrange shipments, slot booking, container confirmation and volume with supplier
  • Review import documents from supplier/vendor
  • Update Internal system with import documents and stock received.
  • Arrange Drop shipments and coordinate with supplier/customer
  • Freight cost quotation comparison for import shipments
  • Filing physical documents for the import shipments.

Export:

  • Book courier shipment via various courier service providers
  • Compare various quotations from different service providers
  • Liaise, follow up and arrange export shipment with client’s forwarder
  • Arrange Permit application via liaising with warehouse team.
  • Arrange shipment dispatches
  • Upload relevant export documents when Job is completed and share documents with clients.
  • Handle ad hoc custom related queries, if any

Payments:

  • Check invoices from DHL, UPS, FEDEX to ensure the bills are paid
  • Liaise with accounts team for payment arrangement.

Required Skills:

  • At least 3-4 years’ experience in Customer Service, order processing, communicating with customers and handling customer issues.
  • Some basic knowledge of Export-Import procedures, Incoterms, Custom clearance Procedures and
  • Effective communication skills, spoken and written English (Chinese/ Mandarin an asset)
  • Computer Proficiency in MS Office,
  • Ability to work independently under tight timelines, Reliable team player
