- Promoting and strengthening of Mizuho's relationship with the customers
- Manage assigned project transactions eg:
- Provide prompt response for all incoming correspondences (with borrowers, lenders, consultants etc)
- Facilitate borrower's queries, waivers/consent request
- Facilitate lender's requests
- Carry out duties as the mandated agent per the loan agreements - overall PIC of the transaction including
- Obtain internal approvals eg for margins, comprehensive approvals, waiver of charges,etc
- Closely monitor project issues and compliance requirements
- Work with operation team to ensure that transaction records are kept current and accurate
- Open accounts and conduct CDD checks
- Facilitate borrower/lender/consultant conference calls, lender's meeting, sitevisits
- Documentation reviews
- Facilitate road shows and presentation as and when required
- Provide prompt feedback- to Team Leader/Section Head on all transaction/operational issues, non compliance
- Mentor and provide technical assistance to junior staff
- Perform duties as checker and approver where appropriate
- Undertake business promotion activities such as preparation of bid proposals etc
- Overall responsibility for the quality of any submissions to the authorities (eg MAS Return on Syndicated Offshore Facilities - Return A & Return B to MAS and IRAS, compliance reports, etc)
- Assist on other assigned duties from time to time
- A degree in Business, Accounting or Banking & Finance with at least 10 years of syndicated loan agency or project
- Good credit background, strong documentation and interpersonal skills.
- Confident, proactive, able to multi-task and work under pressure.
- Strong communication, numerical and IT skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and Power Point) are attributes which will help the candidate perform well in this role.
- Travelling will be required on a need basis.
