Role Overview:

Product Advisory:

  • Package market ideas based on the bank’s research, industry insights, and trends.
  • Lead investment themes and provide actionable strategies for Relationship Managers (RMs) and Investment Consultants (ICs).
  • Offer timely market updates and recommendations to help manage client portfolios.
  • Educate RMs and ICs on fixed income products, serving as the bank’s fixed income expert.
  • Meet clients with RMs and ICs as the fixed income product specialist.

Sales and Dealing:

  • Drive fixed income business growth and contribute to overall revenue from investment products.
  • Provide RMs/ICs with trading ideas, market updates, and sales tools in both English and Traditional Chinese.
  • Handle daily order-taking from RMs/ICs and execute trades with counterparties.

Product Management:

  • Manage the full product lifecycle for fixed income products, including development, launch, and marketing.
  • Analyze market competition to shape product strategy and execution.
  • Oversee product marketing, client experience, and communication strategies for fixed income and structured notes.
  • Launch new products and features, ensuring smooth sales processes and regulatory compliance.
  • Maintain strong relationships with internal and external partners, handling negotiations and agreements.

Requirements:

  • 5-8 years of experience in fixed income dealing, advisory, or product management.
  • Degree in economics, finance, or investments is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of market analysis and technical expertise in fixed income.
  • Ability to engage Wealth Management clients, with an understanding of asset allocation and portfolio strategies.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, with experience in training RMs/ICs and conducting seminars.
  • Able to handle pressure, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing expectations.
  • Proactive, goal-driven, and a team player with strong communication and conflict management skills.
  • Fluent in English and Mandarin, with the ability to communicate in Traditional Chinese for clients in Greater China and Taiwan.
