We are hiring for two distinct internship opportunities: Material Planning Intern and Procurement Intern. Both roles are critical in supporting our manufacturing operations and offer unique opportunities to gain valuable experience in their respective areas.
As a Material Planning Intern, you will play a critical role in supporting the material planning team to ensure the seamless flow of materials required for our manufacturing operations This role offers a unique opportunity to gain exposure to inventory management, production planning, and supply chain coordination. You will contribute to real-world projects that directly impact our global operations. You will be responsible for:
- Assist in planning and scheduling material requirements to support production schedules.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with procurement to ensure timely replenishment of materials.
- Support the analysis of demand forecasts and production plans to optimize material availability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional team to resolve material shortages or delays.
- Maintain accurate records of material movements and inventory levels.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance material planning efficiency.
- Assist in generating reports and analyzing data to support decision-making.
As a Procurement Intern, you will support the procurement team in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain exposure to the procurement lifecycle, supplier management, and the manufacturing work environment. You will work closely with industry experts, contributing to real-world projects that impact our global operations. You will be responsible for:
- Assist in sourcing and purchasing materials, equipment, and services required for manufacturing operations.
- Support supplier management activities, including vendor evaluation, performance tracking, and relationship management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
- Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives to optimize procurement operations.
- Assist in analyzing market trends and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
Qualifications for Both Roles:
- Strong interest in supply chain and the manufacturing work environment.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Self-motivated, eager to learn, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:
- Be currently enrolled or pursuing Diploma, Bachelors or Master’s level degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, Engineering, or related field.
- Have maintained a GPA grade greater than or equal to 3.0 out of 4.0 or the equivalent in your country
- Be fluent in oral and written English and have effective communication skills
- Be able to relocate for the duration of your internship (locations vary)
- Be legally entitled to work within the country in which you are applying without sponsorship or time restrictions
