Responsibilities

Sales and Marketing
Develop & implement sales strategies to maximize revenue for banquets and catering. Identify & pursue new business opportunities, including corporate, social, & member events. Maintain strong relationships with clients to foster repeat business and referrals. Conduct site visits, presentations to promote the Club's facilities & services. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials & campaigns.

Event Planning, Coordination
Work with clients to understand their requirements & preferences for events. Create event proposals, contracts, & timelines. Coordinate with internal departments, including kitchen, service staff, & facilities, to ensure seamless event execution. Manage on-site event setup, execution, ensuring client satisfaction. Address & resolve any issues that arise during events promptly & professionally.

Financial Management
Prepare & monitor budgets for events, ensuring profitability. Track & manage payments, deposits, and billing processes. Analyze sales & event performance to identify areas for improvement and growth.

Team Leadership, Training
Supervise & support the banquet and catering team, including sales coordinators and event staff. Conduct training sessions to ensure team members provide excellent service & adhere to standards. Foster a positive and productive work environment, promoting teamwork & accountability.


Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business, or a related field preferred.
Minimum of 3-5 years experience in banquet or catering sales, event planning, hospitality management.
Strong sales & negotiation skills.
Exceptional communication & interpersonal skills.
Proficient in event management software & MS Office Suite.
Creative problem-solving and adaptability under pressure.
Strong leadership & team-building capabilities.
5 Days work week (Evenings, weekends and public holidays as required)
