Finance Business Partner, Singapore & GCI Region
Key Responsibilities
Manage the Month-end Close process for Singapore in accordance with the GSK Finance Manual and provide timely financial analysis.
Responsible for highlighting monthly and latest estimate performance variances and recommending remedial actions to Business Unit Directors to achieve business goals.
Provide insightful financial and business input to decision making and evaluation of strategic options to optimize resource allocation and ROI.
Support the preparation of the forecasts, plan and align the business in the delivery of the annual Plan for Singapore. Execute the monthly commercial forecast process and value generation thereafter, as well as annual budgets for Singapore LT reviews.
Oversee product analysis /profitability for sales /marketing decisions. Review credit control policies & working capital to maximize cash flow.
Conduct launch scenario analysis for new product pipeline / government subsidy for Singapore and assess their impact on financial targets and long-term profitability.
Conduct scenario and sensitivity analysis on existing portfolio for pricing / tier changes and their impact on financial targets.
Support in the digital transformation for Singapore LOC ensuring smooth transition to new systems like SAC, OMP, pricing tool etc. and ensure Digital Brand strategy of GCI is implemented in Singapore with the help of BU leads.
Support in Planning activities for GCI region & Singapore LOC including MYQ, LQE, Plan, Flip, Latest estimates & Rollover. Support in presentations, offline templates as well as ad hoc analysis for Planning Cycle.
Support CCC process from Finance for GCI & Singapore including reviewing monthly CCC for markets and preparing gap analysis.
Support MPR process for region reviews with Segment every month with necessary analytics as required by Finance Director and VP, Finance.
Why you?
Basic Qualifications
We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:
Degree in Economics, Business or Finance
Min 7 years of experience in a finance role with a multinational environment
Experience in accounting, model analysis, evaluation, forecasting and strategic planning.
Preferred Qualifications
If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:
Finance experience related to Core Commercial Cycle, Manufacturing and Commercial preferred e.g. Finance Partnering experience.
Internationally recognized MBA or Finance qualification
Pharmaceutical industry experience preferred.
Demonstrated ability to influence and lead discussions with Senior Leaders.
Effective options analysis, scenario planning and decision making.
Good knowledge of GSK Finance standards, systems, and processes.
