Job Description
We are looking for a Rider Compensation Operations Executive to join our growing team in Operations, at the heart of the foodpanda business! Operations at foodpanda aims to improve our customer offering by bringing efficiency and improvements through a data-centric approach. This position sits under Rider Growth / Fleet Health in the local SG market. The role is split into two parts:
Strategic part
- Strong collaboration with our regional overhead and strategizing of delivery partner payment landscape
- Analyze earnings data and implement payment schemes to suggest improvements on existing setups / Identify and analyze areas of improvement in rider earnings and payments, that lead to an optimized logistics experience
- Connect key performance metrics with delivery partner earnings to drive strategic changes within the earnings setup
- Find ways to drive logistics efficiency by standardizing processes out of local markets to simplify and streamline business processes
Operational part
- Have an ear on the street and understand rider needs and want / translate these into actionable insights
- Act as a payroll partner for our fleet / Preparing data for payroll
- Bridge the gap between our shared service center for delivery partners and act on escalations on rider payments tickets
- Hands-on approach and love going into details to better understand and shape solution to our daily operational issue / Strong cross-departmental collaboration working together with other operational roles on ensuring a high quality work environment for our delivery partners
Qualifications
Who are we looking for?
- You love data and numbers
- You have successfully completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, Mathematics, Engineering, any other quantitative similar field or Business Administration
- 2-3 years of relevant experience with preferably at least 1-2 years of work experience in high growth startups or tech companies
- Hands-on in SQL (Python is an add-on)
- Flexible and fast learner and able to adapt to fast-paced environments
- You are no stranger to working under pressure, for quick deadlines
- Open-minded and eager to learn even the most minimal detail of the business
- Willing to question the status quo and contribute to ideas when needed
- Attention to detail and focused on producing quality work
