Roles & Responsibilities
Food preparation: Preparing ingredients, cooking dishes, and following recipes
Food safety: Ensuring food is prepared and cooked to specifications, and following food safety procedures to prevent cross-contamination
Kitchen cleanliness: Keeping the kitchen clean and organized, including cleaning dishes, work stations, and food storage areas
Equipment operation: Operating and maintaining cooking equipment, such as ovens, stovetops, and grills
Inventory management: Assisting with inventory management and ordering supplies
Health and safety: Adhering to health and safety regulations, and storing food products in compliance with these regulations
Communication: Communicating with other kitchen staff to ensure dishes are prepared and cooked in a timely manner
Customer interaction: Interacting with customers when needed
Other tasks: Unloading deliveries, washing cooking tools and utensils, and sweeping and mopping floors
