Job Description


About the job

As a member of the Business Navigation team, you play a key role in securing timely posting of the schedules that delivers to the needs of the store. You also seek and coordinate business opportunities through optimised staff planning focused on our people, customer and business needs.


Your assignment

  • You are responsible for managing the store’s staff planning process from forecasting to planning and execution of timely staff planning schedules to ensure that scheduling complies with all labour regulations and internal guidelines.
  • You will support department managers in the development, adaptation and improvement of schedules to ensure that they are within the forecasted hours with updated co-worker availability and skill levels.
  • You collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to identify areas for improvement within the store’s planning processes.
  • You provide staff planning expertise, support and training of end-users in optimising co-workers’ scheduling.
  • You are responsible for tracking the performance of the scheduling process through regular monitoring of staff planning KPIs by producing schedule-related reports and daily review of real-time scheduling adherence.
  • You will support administrative duties associated with schedule creation and timecard management.


Your profile

  • At least 3 years of relevant work experience in a similar capacity within a customer-oriented service industry.
  • Proven analytical skills, with experience in staff planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Good understanding of key business drivers, leveraging this knowledge to contribute to achieving business objectives.
  • Process-oriented and results-driven, with the ability to analyse large volumes of data.
  • Meticulous and detailed with ability to work under tight deadlines and able to pivot priorities effectively to align with changing business needs.
  • Strong follow-up skills with a sense of urgency, ensuring that tasks are completed on time.
  • Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with business partners to align staffing and scheduling with operational needs.
  • Strong IT proficiency, including intermediate skills in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and report generation, to support data analysis and decision-making.
  • Able to commit to shift work, weekends and public holidays.
