Job Description/Preferred Qualifications
Gain a systems-engineering level knowledge of highly sophisticated systems including Image processing, complex illumination, wafer stage, vibration isolation, motion control, opto-mechanical and Automated Wafer handling subject areas.
Implement and supervise progress of the NPI/Sustaining work. This will include Diagnostic improvements, software feature requirements development, training plans and documentation planning and contribution.
Work closely with Manufacturing and Engineering teams, attending concept and design reviews to provide feedback on serviceability of new designs and potential improvements.
Complete service deliverables for new part deployment to the field (including service documentation, field communications, field change process)
Support operational programs to analyze tool performance and recommend improvements for systematic issues.
Write technical reports to communicate issues, analysis, technical assessments, system status, and engineering recommendations.
Respond to situations where first-line support has failed to resolve problems by providing written plans of action by e-mail or hands-on assistance at customer sites in the Asia, USA and Europe.
Support external and internal customers in the operation, installation, upgrade, diagnosis, repair and application of systems.
Drive small projects in matrix environment.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Level Degree or above in electrical/electronic/mechanical/optics engineering
Hands-on and system level troubleshooting experience in semiconductor industry are required
Must be able to work with wide variety of technologies, including mechanics, electronics, servers, optics and software
Organized, detailed, productive, consistent, team player
Strong analytic and data analysis skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Experience with Tech Support, Product Engineer, NPI, Manufacturing Design Engineer, Design Engineer is a plus
Experience with KLA BBP products is a plus
Experience with Reliability Engineering is a plus
Software knowledge in Python, Visual Basic is a plus
