Job Description:
- Provide comprehensive technical support for Singapore market expansion, with expertise in local technical standards (e.g., Singapore Electrical Rules, BCA).
- Manage technical resources of local M&E subcontractors and equipment suppliers; demonstrate strong organizational and review capabilities to evaluate subcontractor technical proposals.
- Develop technical proposals during project bidding phases, align strategies with tender requirements, and provide post-award technical handover or deep involvement in project execution.
Key tasks include:
- Develop electrical engineering schedules aligned with project timelines.
- Design and review electrical systems, ensuring compliance with standards and specifications.
- Provide on-site technical guidance, resolve conflicts, and manage change orders.
- Review electrical drawings, calculations, and RFIs (Requests for Information) to ensure compliance.
- Conduct site inspections and manage commissioning/testing of electrical systems.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and the project team to ensure the smooth delivery of work, including the resolution of design and construction issues.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s in Electrical /Mechanical recognized by PEB Singapore.
- Minimum 8 years in technical management for large-scale(airport)Singapore projects, with expertise in electrical codes and on-site problem-solving.
- Proven track record in multi-project management (budget, schedule, team coordination).
- Proficient in electrical design software (AutoCAD, ETAP, SKM PowerTools).
- Good speaking and writing in both English and Chinese.
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills;
- International mindset and an ability to drive collaboration across construction disciplines, both within BUCG and externally;
