Job Title: Senior HRBP, Singapore

Purpose of the job

A change catalyst to enable and empower our leaders to be stronger people managers and strengthen our EVP with focus on employee experience rather than employee relations.

To orchestrate implementation and alignment of HR strategy and people programs in business unit to achieve commercial goals and create a culture where the best, the brightest and the most engaged people are excited by the career opportunities in their market and across the Dentsu Group.

Key responsibilities

The right candidate must possess a comprehensive knowledge of HR to handle complex projects and stakeholders’ engagement – Business Partnering to Business Leaders, Change Agent, Employee Engagement, Employee Relations and Rewards. The candidate should have the confidence and the ability to provide strategic HR advice, recommend solutions, and provide agile action plans to the business and functional Senior Management client groups for the development and growth of the organization and the people. The candidate must have proven record as an HR Generalist with strong knowledge in local labor laws. This role will also be required to work closely with the various COEs across Singapore/SEA for HR initiatives and projects and manage multiple HR disciplines.

The candidate will also be responsible for guiding and implementing strategic and tactical HR initiatives aligned to the business objectives, monitoring of results, and recommend further enhancement to HR initiatives when needed.

HR Strategy. Experienced in delivering strategic solutions to foster high-performing, inclusive teams that drive organizational success

Provides support in the development, communication, implementation and monitoring of HR strategy initiatives. Works with the leaders to build high performing teams in a fast-paced environment.

Business Relationships. Builds strong partnerships with the stakeholders. Acts as a consultant, coach, and constructive challenger for senior leaders.

Business Management. Have a clear understanding of the organizational capabilities and how best to develop those capabilities through the HR strategy.

Change Management. Supports organizational change management initiatives for business transformation and sustainable growth through preparation of communication, cultural considerations, data gathering, and reporting (M&A’s, organizational culture change, business process re-engineering, reorganizations).

Talent Strategy & Management. Supports the leaders in developing the career plans of our talents through roles and assignments that will provide unique opportunities to build experience and skills.

Employee Development. Works with the Business Leaders to ensure that engaging career development plans are in place and implemented for the employees.

Performance Development. Supports the Business Leaders in driving an effective approach to performance development.

Employee Engagement. Acts as a support and advisor in designing initiatives to strengthen culture together with the business leaders. Ensure there is a shared commitment and accountability for employee engagement between HR and the business leaders. Responsible for evaluating the effectiveness of local culturebuilding initiatives and recommend interventions to Leaders when necessary

Employee Relations. Solves key employee issues which might pose a significant risk to the business and organization.

Qualifications

  • At least 8 to 10 years of experience in HR business partnering in a fast paced and collaborative and matrix organization with strong focus on employee engagement and talent management
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Human Resource Management, or equivalent
  • Proven track record in leveraging on data to assist in developing and delivering HR programs to support the business
  • Strong knowledge of local labor laws.
