THE COMPANY
Looking for a mid career switch? A global venture capital is seeking a high potential investment associate with a strong passion for and undertanding of deep tech (STEM fields). You will get the opportunity to leverage on your experience from working in these industries to value add meaningfully to founders and start ups in Southeast Asia working on innovative breakthroughs.
THE ROLE
• Conduct research on start-ups to identify investment opportunities that align with the firm's focus.
• Conduct due diligence on potential investments across all functions.
• Actively engage in business and technical discussions with founders to support them strategically and operationally.
• Keep up to date and maintain in depth understanding of the indstry and market.
THE REQUIREMENTS
• Minimally 3-6 years of professional experience in areas of deep tech across functions in product, technology, analytics, research, sales or strategy.
• Experience in VC helpful but not necessary.
• Masters or PhD in areas related to deep tech (preferred)
• Strong understanding of deep tech, primarily in STEM.
• Impressive analytical and problem solving ability.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Possesses an entrepeunerial mindset and a can-do spirit.
