We are seeking a highly strategic and creative Marketing Communications Strategist to join our dynamic marketing team. You will play a key role in developing and implementing integrated marketing communications strategies that elevate brand awareness, drive customer engagement, and achieve business objectives across our diverse portfolio of brands.

Responsibilities:

  • Research & Insights: Analyse industry and market trends, guest behaviour, business gaps and competitor strategies. Gather data to inform campaign objectives and messaging.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive integrated marketing communications (IMC) strategies that align with brand/business objectives and target audience needs.
  • Channel Strategy: Identify and leverage the most effective communication channels to reach the target audience, including public relations/influencers, social media, content marketing, and experiential marketing.
  • Content Strategy & Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive content strategies that meet business KPIs, engage with target audience interests and deliver compelling brand-building narratives.
  • Message Development: Craft compelling brand messaging and key messages that resonate with target audiences and effectively achieve brand goals.
  • Creative Collaboration: Collaborate with HQ creative agency to craft compelling visuals. Ensure that all campaign elements resonate with the target audience and align with the brand's tone and values.
  • Project Management & Monitoring: Oversee campaign timelines, budgets and deliverables. Monitor real-time performance and address any issues promptly.
  • Public Relations: Develop and execute public relations campaigns, including press releases, media pitches, and media relations activities.
  • Influencer Marketing: Identify and cultivate relationships with key influencers to amplify brand reach and engagement.
  • Crisis Communication: Develop and implement crisis communication plans and protocols to effectively manage potential reputational risks.
  • Measurement & Analysis: Track, analyse, and report on the effectiveness of marketing communications campaigns, identifying key performance indicators (KPIs) and making data-driven recommendations for improvement.
  • Industry Trends: Stay abreast of the latest digital marketing trends, technologies, and best practices.
  • Group Marketing: Support Head of Brand in new business pitches and group marketing priorities (e.g. content, tourist marketing, press and KOLs)

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of professional experience in marketing communications, social media, public relations, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in developing and executing successful integrated marketing communications campaigns.
  • Proven experience developing and executing successful content strategies.

Desired Skills:

  • Knowledge of media monitoring tools and social listening platforms.
  • Experience with content management platforms and direct marketing platforms.
  • Knowledge of SEO and SEM is desirable, but not mandatory.
  • Proficiency in using data to inform and refine strategies.
  • Experience in the hospitality or F&B industry is a strong advantage.
