Executing a Client Management role in all aspects of key account management, engagement, and profitable retention, as well as to uphold optimum service by maximizing effectiveness of internal processes and communication.
Critical Tasks and Expected Contributions/Results:
Act as key contact to assigned intermediaries and clients for defined book of business for day to day escalations
Deliver a high quality of customer service to internal customers, clients, intermediaries and prospects by answering queries and investigating, resolving services issues across an assigned section of our portfolio
Pro-actively manage and successfully negotiate profitable renewal retention of defined portfolio-rated book of business.
Identifying areas of process improvement and collaborating with respective stakeholder functions in executing changes
Project lead in ad-hoc assignment(s), product development etc.

Ability to foster collaboration, value perspectives of others and gain support and buy-in for organizational proposals
Liaise with internal departments, e.g., underwriting, claims teams, marketing, in line with established procedures to ensure optimum service to client

Ability to work independently to achieve retention and financial targets set on assigned portfolio
Develop proactive strategy to anticipate client needs and objectives ahead of policy renewals
Experience/Knowledge, Education and Other Requirements:
University education required
Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken English
PC literate – Solid knowledge of basic Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
Capable of prioritising workloads in order to meet tight deadlines
3 or more years of Sales/Account Management experience in Group Health Insurance and in Insurer/Broker roles preferred
Certificates in General Insurance and Health Insurance
Candidate with less years of experience would be considered for a junior role
