Key Responsibilities


About the Role

This position will be leading the Digital and Automation practice along with Business Analysts and Developers to delivering end-to-end solutions. The role involves using tools such as Robotic Process Automation (RPA) tool (such as UiPath), SharePoint and Microsoft Power Platform (including PowerApps and PowerAutomate) to digitize and/or digitalize business operations.


  • Work closely with Technology Business Partners, Business Units and Functional teams to understand current operation processes and challenges to identify areas for automation to improvement efficiency.
  • Conduct requirements gathering, To-Be process mapping and solution design reviews.
  • Perform initial cost assessments to develop budget plan and track spending as part of cost management.
  • Oversee end-to-end project delivery, supported by functions teams like Business Analysts, Developers, and vendors to ensure end-to-end project delivery on time, within budget and quality results.
  • Function as RPA/Automation team to review and prioritise requests, manage, track, monitor and report progress to key stakeholders.
  • Collaborate closely with third-party vendors for support, closely monitor vendor performance in meeting service level agreements.
  • Manage licenses (UiPath and Microsoft Power Platform) and administer the UiPath Orchestrator and robots across different Business Units
  • Perform hands-on development of RPA and Microsoft Power Platform applications when required.
  • Identify and implement best practices for automation initiatives, focusing on standardization and optimisation to improve overall effectiveness.
  • Promote awareness and adoption of RPA practices across SATS entities.
  • Develop strategy and charter roadmap for RPA and Microsoft Power Platform adoption and development in SATS.
  • Lead the procurement exercise (ie. RFP/RFQ, proposal evaluation and award) and obtain necessary approvals with support from SATS Procurement
  • Ensure conformance to SATS governance and processes.

Key Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field
  • At least 5 years of Business and / or Systems Analyst or IT Project Management experiences
  • Proven track record in designing and delivering automation solutions with at least 2-3 years of hands-on experience in RPA tools (e.g., UiPath) or Microsoft Power Platform (e.g., PowerApps, Power Automate), including project development and programming training.
  • Proven experience in analyzing business requirement and process mapping to develop automation solutions.
  • Experience in engaging and managing project, vendors, and stakeholders.
  • Have experience in leading team of developers.
  • Familiarity with procurement processes, including RFP/RFQ creation, evaluation, and vendor negotiation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess complex processes and propose effective automation solutions.
  • Knowledge of best practices in automation implementation, including standardization and optimization.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills for different level of stakeholder’s management
  • Able to work independently and collaborate effectively across functional teams at all organizational levels.
  • Certifications in RPA tools (e.g., UiPath Certified Professional) would be advantageous.
  • Knowledge or experience in the aviation industry would be advantageous.
