We are looking for an experienced Senior Training & Ground Operations Executive to be responsible for the delivery of Jetstar Asia training Products, Policies and Procedures and DCS & Automated Self-Service systems. As part of Jetstar Asia’s ground handling team, this role will have the opportunity to drive customer experience by collaborating closely with our appointed ground handlers and internal stakeholders in delivering agreed deliverables for our regional ports.
Reporting to the Training & Airline Services Manager, your main accountabilities will include:
- Training
- Responsible for the management of training programs and schedules for all ports
- Timely preparation and delivery of new and recurrent training schedules on Product & Policy and all systems training
- Responsible for the development of e-learning modules to streamline and improve delivery efficiency
- Responsible for the development and delivery of training modules for Ground Handling Agents
- To act as the designed delegate to the Training & Airline Services Manager in his absence
- Project Management
- Work with the Training & Airline Services Manager on Ground Operations projects related to training
- To act as a designated delegate in all virtual work groups in project delivery
- Manual
- Manage and the maintenance of all training manuals and Ground Operations manuals
- Audit
- Coordinate audits with internal, external and regulatory authorises
- Stationary
- Responsible for maintaining a healthy supply of airline stationery to support all Jetstar Asia Ports
- Airline Technology account maintenance
- Manage and maintain the agent’s day-to-day access to Airline Technology
- To work closely with the Training & Airline Services Manager to ensure compliance of all Airline Technology related account
- Assist the Training & Airline Services Manager in investigation of any non-compliance in the use of Airline Technology
To be considered for these roles you will ideally have:
- Diploma or Degree in any discipline
- Clear knowledge and understanding of all relevant industry regulations & governing bodies i.e. ICAO, IATA, OH & S, CAAS & Airport Authorities
- Training qualifications & experience in aviation are preferred
- Project management experience
- Analytical and thorough in the preparation of work materials
- Proactive, meticulous, and conscientious to meet the timeline of the assignment
- Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills, with proficiency in other Asian languages, preferred
- Ability to perform under pressure
- Understands the operational aspects of the airport operations and training
- Ability in the development and upkeep an effective training program, meeting regulatory compliance and company policies & standards
- Ability to build a positive working relationship with various stakeholders
- Demonstrate effective problem-solving skills in handling difficult situations
- Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
- Self-disciplined - able to work effectively independently and a team player
- Ability to assist with multiple projects and deliver according to stipulated timelines
