Job Description

Understanding of the basic principles and concepts of food safety, such as but not limited to hazard analysis, critical control points, preventive controls, foodborne illnesses, and food defence.
Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in food industry (ranging from retails, hospitality and manufacturing) or involvement in food safety audits which covers basic hygiene, brand standard or HACCP audit.
Work is mostly preferable to be done during the weekdays
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to conduct effective and thorough audits.
Collect, review, and verify various types of data and information, such as records, documents, procedures, policies, and test results.
Identify, assess, and report any potential or actual food safety risks, non-conformities, or deviations from the established requirements.
Provide constructive feedback, recommendations, and corrective actions to address any food safety issues or gaps.
IT savvy as auditor might require to complete report using online reporting platform.
Education background or sound knowledge in food science, microbiology, nutrition, or a related field.
Additional certifications experience in ISO (9001, 18000, 22000), FSSAI (HYGIENE AUDITOR, FOSTAC), Servsafe, CIEH, FSSC 22000 and other relevant industry certifications is a plus point.
May require additional training or courses in food safety auditing, management systems, Food Safety Level 1, 2 and 3 training along with the audit.
May require travelling if needed/ requested by customer.
