Manage and guide a team of technicians to perform vehicle service and repair with excellent quality, turnaround time and productivity to meet customers’ requirements
Ensure repair work is up to standard as to avoid comeback job
Troubleshoot technical problems by using of electronic diagnostic tools, identify defects and repair actions, parts requirements for repair
Advice on repair status to supervisor
Test drive vehicle after repair when necessary
Supervise and control of spares used on contract vehicles
Ensure all work carried out are in accordance with safety and housekeeping requirements
Assist Customer Service personnel in providing quotation for repair work
Any other duties assigned by Supervisor
Requirement:
Class 3 & 4
Able to communicate in English
NITEC/ Diploma (Automotive Engineering) or relevant certification
MS Office Skills
Relevant experience 1-2 years in automotive repair (able to handle commercial vehicles EURO4-6 up to that of Prime Movers (HDT)) and technical service, use of diagnostic tools, warranty administration with SOP and documentation, technical investigation and report writing
Ability to understand electrical drawings
Results oriented, team player, attention to detail, able to work in a fast paced environment
