Main Duties
- Manage Fixed Assets Accounting outsourcing contract. Work outsourced to contractors include asset verification, asset tagging, updating of asset additions and disposals in fixed asset register etc.
- Ensure proper accounting treatment of Fixed Asset development projects undertaken by BCA.
- Ensure proper reporting of Fixed Assets managed by BCA on behalf of other agencies
- Partner business groups in the management of Fixed Assets throughout the asset’s lifecycle.
- Perform month-end and year-end financial closing activities, liaising with auditors to support annual financial report preparation.
- Review and implement Fixed Assets policies and procedures.
- Support any other projects and duties as assigned.
Requirements
- A good degree in Business/Finance/Accountancy.
- At least 2 years of working experience in Fixed Assets Accounting preferred.
- Familiar with Workday IT System preferred
- Proactive, willing to take up challenges and able to work under pressure to meet tight reporting deadlines.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Able to work independently and effectively as a team.
